first weeks in poland

my first weeks in poland were very exciting. i arrived in late september to a totally new town, did not speek any polish and did not knew any one. but that changed quickly. i met alot of new people who became good friends soon. we did alot of things together, traveled to gdanzk and krakow and also explored our new home town warsaw. in the following you will see some snapshots of my experiences of the first few weeks full of parties, traveling and walking around the city. i took those pictures with my grandpas old analoge camera to keep some of the memories. in my first impression of the polish people i met they appered quite reservated and cold. but as i got to know them and the polish language and culture better that picture should change soon. most of the polish people appeared to be very open and always happy if i tried to order a coffee in broken polish. all in all i felt very welcome and i still am glad, that i had the opportunity to visit warsaw for my exchange semseter.
